As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency across our transport fleet and mining support machinery.
Key Responsibilities in the Role
You’ll be involved in every aspect of mechanical maintenance, including but not limited to:
- Conducting scheduled maintenance and diagnostics
- Performing component change-outs and major overhauls
- Managing Kenworth trucks, Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment
- Handling crushing and screening equipment servicing
- Conducting routine fault identification and repairs
- Maintaining vehicle warranty requirements
- Dismantling and reassembling components
- Ordering parts and managing workshop inventory
- Participating in regular toolbox meetings
- Using computerized systems for maintenance records
- Strictly following all Work Health and Safety protocols
